Why do some people go to the bathroom and then not wash their hands?

I just saw a study on this and wondered what I thought. I see this all the time, especially in restaurants. It's disgusting. You mean you're going to the bathroom, grab the dirty door handle, and then go to eat? Call me OCD, but I like be clean. I always wash my hands if I'm at home or in a restaurant. And when I go to the bathroom in the restaurant I make sure I have a paper towel to grab me to handle. Also I carry around waterless hand cleaner (Purell). I guess that's why I never get sick. It's August and have not had a cold yet this year (knock on wood). dont people who wash their hands washed mine lazy.i only during the day to get so dry and sore
