Fixing a soap injector pump?

I just bought a very nice decorative soap dispenser pump soup. However, after testing the pump, no soap is dispensed. Nozzle is not obstructed. Does anyone know how to fix this Thanks?!

Sounds like a defective product. There are "albums" pulling a vacuum when pressed on the handle of the pump and if not perfectly round, air enters and prevents the product is removed from the container. Take It Back.
